Who we are
- Armonia
The Armonia platform is a modern environment that provides online tools to manage our contractual relationship:
Armonia is an alliance between Sacem, Siae and Sgae to establish a one-stop pan European licensing for online and mobile digital rights.
The aim is to be able to license the rights of these three major repertoires in order to respond to the fundamental interests of the rights owners and increase the efficiency of the management of the rights.
- SACEM
Sacem is a private non-profit membership organization for managing rights and royalties of authors, composers and publishers of musical works. Its primary mission is to collect royalties and to redistribute these equitably to rights holders. Founded over 150 years ago, Sacem was the first society in the world to represent musical rights holders. It has established itself as a key international player and a driving force in rights management. Sacem counts today over 128,000 members worldwide. It manages 37 million works.

- SIAE
- Founded in 1882, SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori) is the enterprise to which authors, publishers and most categories of copyright owners confer the administration of their rights. Thanks to its structure of multipurpose collecting society, it works as well as one stop shop for the entertainment industry in Italy. More than 90.000 Authors, publishers, and other rightholders are associated to SIAE; the works it administers range from music, theater and literature to operas, ballet and cinema as well as visual arts.
- SIAE has its Headquarters in Rome; its 13 regional offices in Italy supervise the activities of its 34 branch offices in the main towns and 600 agents located all over the country.
- The musical repertoire managed by SIAE covers over seven million works, more than half of them Italian; SIAE’s mission is ensuring that the rightowners are remunerated fairly for each use of the works in this repertoire.

What we do
Armonia will allow the licensing of these major European repertoires in a single point and permit easy access to the works and thus increase the conditions for online digital and mobile services expansion.
Uniting these repertoires protects the fundamental rights of rights holders and strengthens musical diversity.
How we do it
Sacem Siae and Sgae developed an automatic system that identifies each work in the repertoire in question and its original society.
This offers, through a user friendly platform, the possibility of consulting all of the works in the repertoire and identifies the claims for each territory.
